Call for Paper Submission
The Organizing Committees have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the Joint 12th IFAC Symposium on Robust Control Design (ROCOND 2027) and 7th IFAC Workshop on Linear Parameter Varying Systems (LPVS 2027).
Though ROCOND’27 and LPVS’27 are being jointly organized and will share a common program and registration, the proceedings will be organized separately. Hence, for each contribution the authors should explicitly choose if they are submitting to ROCOND or LPVS. Please submit in the most appropriate format:
Regular Papers
Regular Papers are intended to be a complete description of finished work, and are selected on the originality, technical soundness, quality of written exposition and relevance to ROCOND or LPVS topics. Initial submissions should be a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 8 pages. However, final manuscripts must adhere to a strict 6-page limit to be included in the IFAC-PapersOnLine proceedings. Their presentation is in the form of oral sessions.
Open Track papers
Open Track Sessions present a unifying theme from a diversity of viewpoints. This might be either theoretical — Invited Sessions or applications-oriented — Technical Sessions. Proposals must describe the motivation and relevance of the session and should be a maximum of 4 pages.
The associated papers initial submissions follow the rules stated above for Regular Papers. These are submitted accompanied of the Open Session Track code. Their presentation may be either in the form of oral sessions or interactive sessions.
Open Track Sessions
An Open Track session corresponds to a kind of invited session on a specific topic. However, differently from the classical invited session, it is open in the sense that anyone can contribute. The definition and proposals of the Open Tracks are managed by the IPCs. The list of approved open tracks is displayed bellow. Each open track has a code. Authors willing to submit to an open track, must choose the Open Track papers type and use the corresponding code in the submission. The review process of the Open Track papers will be exactly the same of the Regular papers.
Review and acceptance of papers submitted to ROCOND will be managed by the ROCOND IPC. Review and acceptance of papers submitted to LPVS will be managed by the LPVS IPC. It should be pointed out that one author can have different papers submitted to ROCOND and LPVS. For example, an author can submit one paper to ROCOND (regular or open track) and a different one to LPVS (regular or open track). The authors may verify the scope of ROCOND27 and of LPVS27 on the website.

Instructions for Authors
Both first and final submissions should comply with the IFAC Style. All manuscripts should be prepared and submitted according to IFAC requirements.

Competition eligibility: First and presenting author must be less than 30 years old at the time of the event
Young Author Awards
To encourage the participation of young scientists and engineers in IFAC, and recognise outstanding contributions from the next generation in the field, the IFAC Young Author Award will be presented at ROCOND&LPVS’27. This award is given for the best paper where the first and presenting author is the main contributor to the research and holds Student status at the time of paper submission.
Nominations are invited after the final paper submission deadline. Colleagues of the young author (no self-nominations) are responsible for submitting nominations through the IFAC Submission Management System. The IFAC Young Author Award Selection Committee will compile a shortlist of finalists based on the collected reviews and their own evaluation of the papers. The winner will be selected based on both the written paper and the oral presentation delivered by the nominee.
Copyright Conditions
All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted. IFAC-sponsored conferences will abide by the highest standard of ethical behavior in the review process as explained on the Elsevier webpage (https://www.elsevier.com/authors/journal-authors/policies-and-ethics), and the authors will abide by the IFAC publication ethics guidelines (https://www.ifac-control.org/events/organizers-guide/PublicationEthicsGuidelines.pdf/view).Accepted papers that have been presented at an IFAC meeting will be published in the proceedings of the event using the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine series hosted on ScienceDirect (https://sciencedirect.com/). To this end, the author(s) must grant exclusive publishing rights to IFAC under a Creative Commons license when they submit the final version of the paper. The copyright belongs to the authors, who have the right to share the paper in the same terms allowed by the end user license, and retain all patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights (including research data).
