Abstract

This article proposes the use of different digital control techniques for three-phase inverters that drive three-phase induction motors. A DC to DC boost converter, powered by photovoltaic (PV) panels, supplies the inverter via a DC bus. The system also has batteries connected to the DC bus through a bidirectional converter, which are intended to supply the demand of the electric motor, when this is greater than the power of PV generation. Both DC converters are controlled in order to provide maximum power to the load and keep the DC bus voltage controlled.
